HOW IT GOT STARTED
The Roots
Hi, I’m Korene Senior (yes, that's really my last name). Following my two decade long career working as Director of Sales and Operations for several senior living communities in the Central Maryland region, I ventured out to become a full-time Eldercare Consultant in 2020 at the company I founded, Senior and Senior. While forming the company, I decided that I wanted to become an invaluable resource for my families and clients, so I obtained my Certification as a Dementia Practitioner as well as my Life/Health Insurance Producer license.
I thoroughly enjoy helping seniors - they truly become like family to me. When I'm not spending time with my eldercare "family", I love spending time with my 3 wonderful kids and husband. I love writing about my experiences in the senior care industry and the journeys I've traveled in an effort to educate as many people as I can on planning for their own long term care needs. Join me as I share that beneficial information with you.
